Abstract

Herbaceous plants are groups of plants that have short stature, are small and have wet stems because they contain lots of water and do not have wood. This study aims to inventory herbaceous plant species at three different locations and provide information on the benefits of herbaceous plants. The research method used was purposive sampling, data collection techniques using a path method with a length of 100 m and a width of 5 m at three different locations. Herbaceous plants found were identified to find out the type and know the benefits of herbaceous plants. The results showed that in the slope area 12 types of herbs were found, 340 individuals. The most number of species are Asystasia gangetica (SDR of 23,58%) and Nephrolepis bisserata (SDR of 29,26%) and C of 0,112422. The least number of types are Cheilocostus speciosus and Phrynium pubinerve have SDR of 1,43% and C of 0,000035. In ramps areas 11 types of herbs have been found 215 individuals. The most number of species is the type of Phrynium pubinerve has SDR of 34,81% and C of 0,152645. The least number of species and have C of 0,000022 is the type of Alocasia longiloba (SDR of 3,01%), Blechnum occidentale, Haplopteris malayensis and Homalomena occulta each having SDR of 1,62%. In hilly areas 16 species of herbs have been found 542 individuals. The most number of species is the type of Phrynium pubinerve has a SDR of 38,72% and a dominance index of 0,274929. The least number of species are Adiatum sp., Asplenium nidus, Davallia lorrainii, Ottochloa nodosa and Tacca chantrieri and each has a SDR of 0,89% and C of 0,000005. Herbaceous plants that have the benefit of 19 types of herbs from 15 families.
